چکیده
Objective Passive leg raise (PLR) is an experimental cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) technique involving elevation of the lower limbs from horizontal plane during CPR. This procedure thought to improve clinical outcomes in cardiac arrest. By comparing use PLR conventional CPR, we aimed evaluate survival and secondary neurologically intact return spontaneous circulation (ROSC). Methods In this systematic review, databases PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library were searched for relevant studies inception May 1st, 2021. Studies included if they reported Random-effects meta-analysis was performed outcome 30 days. Results The search yielded 554 articles, which six met criteria inclusion (three animal three human studies). most common implementation heels a 20- 45-degree angle at hips. Two higher hospital admission patients that underwent PLR, though difference not significant. ROSC survival, while two survival. pooled effect on days/survival discharge significant (P=0.68), although our analysis showed trend favoring PLR-CPR. Conclusion Despite several showing benefit PLR-CPR, there are no data supporting its Future research needs ascertain best positioning CPR optimize outcomes. The Aassociation between Pre-Cardiac Arrest Comorbidity and Unsuccessful Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation in Patients with Cardiac Arrest
Background and Objective: Patients suffering from cardiac arrest (CA) have poor prognosis and survival. The association of pre-arrest comorbidity with unsuccessful resuscitation in patients with CA is far from clear. The aim of the present study was to investigate the association between pre-existing comorbidity and unsuccessful resuscitation following CA in Iranian patients. Materials and Met...

15 صفحه اولQuantifying the effect of cardiopulmonary resuscitation quality on cardiac arrest outcome: a systematic review and meta-analysis.
Background- Evidence has accrued that cardiopulmonary resuscitation quality affects cardiac arrest outcome. However, the relative contributions of chest compression components (such as rate and depth) to successful resuscitation remain unclear. Methods and Results- We sought to measure the effect of cardiopulmonary resuscitation quality on cardiac arrest outcome through systematic review and me...
متن کاملEfficacy of extracorporeal cardiopulmonary resuscitation compared to conventional cardiopulmonary resuscitation for adult cardiac arrest patients: a systematic review and meta-analysis
We performed a meta-analysis to compare the impact of extracorporeal cardiopulmonary resuscitation (ECPR) to that of conventional cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CCPR) in adult patients who experience cardiac arrest of cardiac origin. A literature search was performed using criteria set forth in a predefined protocol. Report inclusion criteria were that ECPR was compared to CCPR in adult patient...
